Set in a beautiful landscape at Horopito in the middle of the North Island this vast wreckers' yards makes a surreal scene.
I was fascinated by the jarring shapes of the rusting vehicles lying silently in overgrown fields, some with their weathered signage barely legible to give any clues of their previous existence. Now left to rest in peace.
